How to Enroll
Pre-Admission Information
1. Submit the Admission Application online or come by in person.
2. Submit your Free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). https://studentaid.gov/fafsa-app/ROLES
If you need assistance, we can help you complete your FAFSA.
3. Submit your scholarship application(s).
4. The Financial Aid officer will complete your financial aid package. We will discuss your financial options.
5. Schedule a tour.
Interview with our Director of Admissions. We will discuss your academic and career goals, and answer any questions for you.
6. Complete the Enrollment Agreement and Admissions packet
When applying for admission at the Staunton School of Cosmetology the following documentation will be needed to complete your application:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or transcript showing legal evidence of high school completion
If you were a home-schooled student: we only accept G.E.D. or official college transcripts. - Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Driver’s License or Legal Photo ID
We do not accept Ability to Benefit Students
This information is needed to successfully complete your application for admission and financial assistance. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. For further information on financial aid the Director of Financial Aid will be happy to assist you. Staff members counsel all students to help ensure financial and educational needs are met.

You must complete the FAFSA application before we can consider you for enrollment.
Scholarship Funds
Each year Staunton School of Cosmetology offers scholarships. To be eligible for these scholarships you must follow the scholarship guidelines for the counties in which you reside and complete the scholarship application.
Applicant Guidelines
Applicant must have a permanent address within the city/county of the Scholarship Fund
Applicant must complete a FAFSA online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
Applicant must complete the Scholarship Application
Scholarships will be awarded based on financial needs
The Scholarship Committee must approve the Scholarship Application
The selected applicant must complete the full 1500 hour Cosmetology Course
